remember kids, the internet is forever.

today i got an email that somebody favorited one of my stories on FFN, which was confusing since i don't use FFN -- but i looked up the username and turns out 2012 me did indeed make an account, then posted a LoK fic and promptly forgot about it. well, "forgot about it" would be an understatement. i forgot i was even into that show at one point! where else am i lurking on the internet?!

anyway. then i read it, because why not, and wow. for all the beating-down i do about my writing now, i've... improved! i hesitate to call my old stuff bad or cringe or whatever, because there were some aspects of writing that younger me seems to have gotten the hang of right off the bat. but maybe i should give present-day me a little more credit for her skill level...

also, still not sure whether i'm more surprised that i have fic on FFN that i forgot about or that someone managed to find it over nine years later.
